InfoSec Southwest has completed its sixth year, and it keeps getting better and better. Continuing its tradition of engaging topics and accessible community, ISSW saw professionals and newbies alike getting involved.
Whether attendees were there for technical topics like “Cleaning up Magical Crypto Fairy Dust with Cryptanalib and FeatherDuster” and “Leaking Windows Kernel Pointers”, or there for less technical topics like “How did we get here, and where are we’re going?” and “Speak Security and Enter: Better Ways to Communicate with Non-Technical Users” there was something for everyone.
As with past years, the Turbo Talks were a big hit with attendees. Many attendees become speakers themselves, sharing what they know on a variety of topics in the fun and casual setting established by Austin Hackers Association. Attendees also continued the chaos that is Project Mayhem as they descended upon downtown Austin. Some left with more than just memories of the night.
We will be gearing up for next year, but until then, be sure to check out the media and links below for ISSW 2016
