Attention Hackers, Makers, Engineers, and Researchers! It's the ISSW 2020 CF(X)!
It's that time of the year again -- the CFx for Infosec SouthWest 2020, which will be held May 1st, 2020 through May 3rd, 2020 at the Hotel Ella in Austin, Texas, USA. As with most years, we're doing things a little differently with content programming, which means we have not one, but two ways to throw your hat in to help make ISSW a super fun and educational experience for your peers and colleagues this year.
1) Call for Presentations (CFP): This is an opportunity to present your research or engineering project in the traditional, one or two speakers and slides and demos sort of way. You are welcome to choose either a shorter (25 minutes) talk, or a longer (50 minutes) presentation.
For the CFP, please fill out this form before Feb 1, 2020.
2) Call for Villages (CFV): We're looking to host more hands-on, longer group events this year. This can be something like a capture the flag competition, a series of lockpicking challenges and tutorials, a soldering/desoldering practice area, a red team / blue team simulation event, or something we haven't thought of yet! Figure on having a space to share your expertise with a dozen or two attendees, spanning 2 to 4 four hours.
For the CFV, please fill out this form before Feb 1, 2020.
Finally, if you're interested in volunteering in a non-content capacity, swing by the Call for Volunteers form, here
Thanks for your interest in ISSW, and we're looking forward to seeing you in the spring!
